These terms govern your access to and use of Stop N Swop's website, product, and services. Please read these terms carefully, we have made efforts to make these terms easy to understand. By using our services you are bound by our terms and privacy policy.

Content

External content

Any copyrighted material such as games and platforms are soley owned by their respective publishers and have no direct relation to Stop N Swop.

Any external media, such as screenshots, is provided by standalone resources with their own terms and conditions.

User content

Any uploaded content remains the property of the user, must be owned by the user, and must be legal. We reserve the right to analyse and use your content in the day to day running of the application.

We will make reasonable efforts to protect your personal information submitted by you. You acknowledge that your submission of any information is at your sole risk. We disclaim any and all liability to you for any loss or liability relating to this information.

Any inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content is considered a breach of the terms and conditions. The content may be removed and account termination may be considered.

We are not responsible for the content uploaded by users, any inappropriate content should be reported to us so that we can deal with it as required.

Age restriction

Users must be aged 18+ if you are found to be under this age your account may be terminated immediately.

Payment

All payments are processed by Stripe. Transactional responsibilities fall directly to Stripe. You can read more about Stripe's terms here

Prices are shown in the currency of the seller's preference. You must pay in the currency in which the product is is quote. If you do not hold an account in the required currency, you may be subject to exchange rate fees.

Direct payments

When making a one-time purchase, such as buying a game, you will agree to the price quoted and we aim to debit this amount from your account immediately.

In some instances, we will first preauthorise your payment and then debit the requested amount at a later point. You will be notified when this happens.

We operate an escrow-style model. This means the buyer is charged at the time of purchase, but the funds are not released to the seller until the goods have been received and verified by the buyer.

Refunds

We charge an Order Protection fee as part of purchases. This is a non-refundable amount. This fee is shown upfront at the point of sale. In the event of a refund, you will receive the refunded amount, less the order protection fee.

However, in the event that an order fails to happen through no fault of your own, you will receive a full refund of the debited amount.

When you request a refund we will contact you directly in order to facilitate the return of goods and processing of funds.

Subscriptions

Some services are offered on a subscription basis. We will clearly explain the amount and frequency that you will be charged.

Delivery of goods

Goods are delivered by the seller and are soley the responsibility of the seller. As a seller using our service, you must ensure your goods are delivered in a timely and safe manner.

If goods are not delivered within 14 days, the buyer is entitled to request a refund.

If goods are received but not in the given condition, the buyer is entitled to request a refund.

If the buyer does not notify us of receipt after 21 days, we consider the item received.

Once the item has been received, the buyer is no longer able to dispute the order.

Account termination

We may terminate your account if we decide that you are not using it in an acceptable manner. We reserve the right to do this without providing a reason for the termination.
